The FlatTree Eclipse plugin offers convenient handling of flat files in your favorite IDE:

It supports the following features:

• registration of flat file structure configurations in project properties
• assignment of a structure configuration in resource properties
• a highlighting flat file editor (registered file extension is *.flat)
• an outline view
• a node values editor (perform a CTRL-click on a line in the flat file editor)
